President Donald Trump said on Monday that he received a clean bill of health following his latest medical examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote that his six-month physical “checked out PERFECTLY.”
“Just finished my 6 month physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. Everything checked out PERFECTLY. Thank you to the great Doctors and Staff! Heading back to the White House. President DJT,” the president posted.
The announcement comes amid ongoing public speculation about Trump’s physical and cognitive health, particularly after recent appearances where he was seen with visible bruising on his hand covered by makeup and closing his eyes for extended periods during public events.
Trump’s medical visit marks the fourth known examination of his second term. Previous check-ups included one shortly after he took office, another in July 2025 related to swelling in his legs (diagnosed as chronic venous insufficiency), and imaging in October 2025.The White House has consistently maintained that the 79-year-old president is in excellent health. However, critics and some medical observers have pointed to visible signs of aging and occasional verbal slips as reasons for concern.
Trump has pushed back against such questions, often highlighting his cognitive test results, which he claims to have “aced” multiple times. No detailed medical report from Monday’s examination has been released by the White House or Walter Reed so far.
