LIPTAK: “President trump convened his national security team again on Friday to discuss a path forward in Iran, as he appeaeaeao be nearing a decision about whether to restart strikes in that country or to allow more time for diplomacy to proceed. And we are now in the timeline that the president himself set earlier this week to tryrynd come up with a deal that he can agree to with Iran. He said that the strikes would begin by early next week unless Iran submitted a proposal that he could sigig off on. Now, it doesn‘t appear as if the president has madede a decision quite yet. The diplomacy does seem to be proceeding a pace. Therere was a qataririelegation in Tehran n Friday continuing these discussions.
