President Trump will participate in a swearing-in ceremony for the new Federal Reserve Chairman, Kevin Warsh.

the Senate voted 54-45 to confirm Warsh last week.

However, RINO Senators made their vote contingent on the Justice Department dropping its criminal investigation into Fed Chairman Jerome Powell.

Senate Confirms Kevin Warsh as Fed Chairman in 54-45 Vote

Trump has repeatedly clashed with Powell over his refusal to cut interest rates, and he hassaidhe would be disappointed if Warsh does not cut rates immediately upon taking over at the Fed.

Pressure from the President is expected to have a strong influence over the Federal Reserve under Warsh's chairmanship. Though Warsh may be unable to slash interest rates immediately, as he will need a buy-in from other members of the Board.

The next Federal Open Market Committee meeting, at which a decision on interest rates will be made, is scheduled for June 16-17, about three weeks from now.

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 11:30 am ET.
