Trailblazing entrepreneur and author Petronely Grindea will discuss her new memoir, “Unapologetically Daring to Inspire,” during a special guest lecture at the Great Neck Library on Monday, June 8.

The event, scheduled from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the library’s 159 Bayview Ave. location, offers a look into Grindea’s journey from Transylvania to the upper echelons of the American beauty industry.

Grindea, a beauty expert and wellness pioneer, has spent more than 25 years redefining the spa and wellness industry. As the founder of LifeBotanica and co-founder of Innovative Wellness 360, she pioneered the “beauty from within” concept. Her career includes collaborations with industry giants such as Elizabeth Arden and Estée Lauder, and her work has been featured in Vogue, Cosmopolitan, CNBC, and Spa Management.

Her new book chronicles her professional rise while exploring the complexities of womanhood. It features tactical advice and reflection exercises designed to help readers, particularly women in their 40s and 50s, navigate professional development and self-discovery.

“Let passion be your compass and purpose your fuel,” Grindea said in a statement. “Draw strength from nature’s wisdom and your inner fire. Dare unapologetically, your journey can inspire others too.”

The lecture is free and registration is not required. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
