Class 12 students have been raising complaints against the online portal of CBSE through which students can register to receive the scanned copies of the answer sheets. In these complaints, many students and experts have alleged that the amount being charged for each exam has increased massively, without any further intimation by the Board. In some complaints, students also speculated if the portal has been hacked.

"Cbse ab aur shock Sehani ki himmat nahin hai baccho mai...Papers were checked using outstanding OSM...Payment ke liye kya use Kiya jo Awesome hai...SHOCKING...16000 FOR TWO PAPERS," an X user tweeted.

In the comments of this tweet, another user speculated that the CBSE portal may have been hacked.

Other screenshots shared on social media platforms such as Reddit and X also showed similar payment glitches. Students have claimed, through screenshots, that the revaluation fee changing drastically from Re 1 to Rs 69.67, then Rs 8,000, and in some cases even Rs 69,420 per subject.

Another 'X' user Sarthak Sidhant (@sidhant_sarthak) also tweeted on the same lines. "good morning @cbseindia29 your site was hacked, students were scammed. last night the price was changed to re.1 then to rs. 69.67 and now to rs. 8000 and as of 3 minutes ago rs. 69420 for each subject," he tweeted.

Meanwhile, in its notice on extension of last date for obtaining scanned copies of answer sheets, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) also stated that the deadline has been extended as the official portal "faced several attempts of unauthorised interference". While CBSE has not clearly stated what the 'unauthorised interference' were, it is being speculated that the 'unauthorised interference' was hacking of some form.

Meanwhile, CBSE has once againextended the deadlinefor obtaining scanned copies of class 12 answer sheets. CBSE class 12 students now have time till May 24 (Sunday) to get their scanned copies of answer sheets for the class 12 board exams. Earlier, the deadline for this was May 23, which has now been extended for another day.
