Erika Kirk, the wife of the late deceased Charlie Kirk, broke her silence Thursday on the Los Angeles mayoral race about candidate Spencer Pratt, who Republicans and Independents have coalesced around.

The head of Turning Point said that no matter the outcome of the race, “what he’s doing is authentically American.”

“See a problem, become a part of the solution. His campaign ads are unconventional, but that’s the point; it’s refreshing,” sheadded in an X post.

She was referencing the viral ads Pratt has created or shared, from AI-generated onespoking fun of Mayor Karen Bass and California Democrats toothers where he made fun of criticswho questioned his residency in Los Angeles.

“Instead of speaking like a career politician, he’s speaking as an American who sees and deeply understands how fragile the simple things in life are when leadership fails. This is what this country is all about,” Kirk said.

“Citizens willing to step into the political arena, unafraid, and challenge a failing system, much like the one that has destroyed Los Angeles. I hope moments like thisinspire more Americans to throw their names into the mix, run for office, get involved and stand up for what makes this country exceptional,” she concluded.

It comes after President Trumpwas quizzed about Spencer Pratt’s insurgent campaign for Los Angeles mayor— saying he’d like to see the former reality star “do well” in the race.

“I’d like to see him do well — he’s a character,” Trump told reporters on Wednesday.

“I don’t know, I don’t know him. I assume he probably supports me. Does he support me?… I heard he does. I heard he’s a big MAGA person. He’s doing well.”
