Chevron is done being accused of driving California’sgas prices to the highest in the nation– and they aren’t afraid of the letting drivers know.

The gas giant says blame rests with the Democrats running the state – not President Donald Trump – and they are telling driversat the gas pumpahead of the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

“Sacramento policies did this. Now you pay more,” the signs read at pumps across California, paid for by the oil giant, showing a blue SUV entangled in a gas hose for affect.

”California politicians are choosing foreign oil and fuels over local jobs and lower costs.”

Now motorists are making videos of the signs, comparing them with prices at the Chevron station that are filling up at, with one showing regular gas is $6.49 a gallon while premium is $6.69.

The average price of gas in America Thursday is $4.564, according to the AAA.

Chevron’s comes ahead of the three-day Memorial Day weekend when drivers in LA and across the state continue to contend with insanegas prices.

As of Thursday, the average price in the Golden State is $6.143 a gallon, according toAAA.

When travelers start hitting the road today in record numbers, the price of a gallon of gas is up nationwide of $1.38 more than it was this time last year, perAAA.
