US President Donald Trump has sparked health fears after appearing to mix up two of his predecessors. Trump was speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, USA, when he made the faux pas concerning two previous Democrat presidents.
Trump was responding to criticism of US soldier deaths in the sporadically ongoing Iran war. Taking aim at people who doubt his record, Trump countered by mimicking a critic on television saying about his office, "he's lost 13 people".
Trump added "I lost 13 people, they lost 13 people leaving an airport", before adding "Obama" in reference to President Barrack Obama who was not in office when the US withdrew from the international airport in Afghanistan amid chaotic scenes in 2021.
President Biden was in the White House when 13 US service personnel Trump was referring to were killed in a suicide bombing at the Abbey Gate at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan.
By August 30, all US and British forces had left the country leaving it to the mercy of the Islamic extremist Taliban, who are still in power today.

Mixing up if it was Biden or Obama who was in power just a few years ago might ring alarm bells for those worried about 79-year-old Trump's mental capacity.
Trump continued by saying he got to know the families of those who were killed in the airport bombing.
On the Iran war, he added: "What we have done is amazing, and we have them decimated. Iran is decimated."
