BJP MPTejaswi Suryaon Monday welcomedSergio Gor, the U.S. Ambassador to India, to Bengaluru for a meeting focused on strengthening bilateral ties.
Taking to X, Surya said the two leaders shared a casual breakfast of masala dosa and coffee at Filter Coffee in Indiranagar while engaging in discussions on the growing India-U.S. partnership, particularly in trade, technology, and innovation following the interim trade agreement.

Surya added, “Bengaluru truly represents the journey from masala dosa to machine learning, blending tradition with cutting-edge innovation and plays a vital role in strengthening economic and people-to-people ties between our two democracies. With over 700 American companies and 43% of India’s software exports coming from Bengaluru, our city is central to US-India economic ties. During the visit, Surya also introduced the ambassador to Namma Auto, giving him a firsthand experience of the Bengaluru-based ride service. Surya described the visit as “memorable," highlighting the informal yet productive nature of the conversation.
