Supporters of Donald Trump's MAGA movement turned out for the Freedom 250 rededication ceremony held on the National Mall.

The gathering drew individuals from acrossthe nation who came to back the presidentalongside various Republican and religious figures. However, attendance numbers plummeted dramatically following the president's pre-recorded message to his devoted base.

As attendees worshipped Jesus Christ and God, numerous ardent supporters appeared to disappear as the marathon nine-hour prayer event continued, coinciding with sweltering conditions and limited shade during anintense heatwave gripping Washington, D.C.in the run-up to the ceremony. It comes afterTrump was slammed and compared to 'a third-grader' for his actions during the bible reading at Rededicate 250 event.

The sudden exodus of multiple MAGA followers created noticeable gaps across the mall's lush green grass while pastors, choirs, and various speakers advocated for America's renewed commitment to Christ. Images of the vacant spots rapidly circulated on social media, prompting widespread ridicule of the president.

"I'm sure the White House will try to hype up their MAGA 'Rededicate 250' event in Washington, D.C., but there's a cringe-inducing display of empty chairs near the front," one user posted on X. Another individual revealed receiving a direct invitation from the organizers. "They sent me an invite this week, so they must have been desperate," they said. "The people who would actually want to attend can't afford the gas to get here and think they will be ravaged, slaughtered, and eaten before they get 100 yards inside the Beltway."

A journalist from the Irish Star observed the mass exodus from the primary prayer location and watched as attendees quickly sought refuge in the shade of nearby trees. A handful stayed put for the final three hours of the day-long event.

The president has consistently shown a tendency to exaggerate figures to appear more successful than reality suggests. Last year provided a prime illustration when he attempted to boost his underwhelming approval ratings by declaring he had achieved record-breaking poll numbers in his political journey.

Even Fox News couldn't manipulate the data in Trump's favor. Taking to his social media platform Truth Social, the president proclaimed: "I HAVE JUST GOTTEN THE HIGHEST POLL NUMBERS OF MY 'POLITICAL CAREER.' While my great work on the Economy has not yet been fully appreciated, it will be! Things are really Rockin'."
