Andy Reid will be hobnobbing with some A-listers in July.
The Kansas City Chiefs head coach revealed on Thursday he will attendTravis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding— though he outlined his plans in a careful, cheeky fashion.
During an interview with96.5 The Fan, Reid was asked if he had received an invite to the bash that’sslated to go down on July 3 in New York City.
“Well,” he said. “I probably have. You know? I probably have. And if I don’t outgrow my tuxedo before then, I’m going.”
The crowd in attendance to watch Swift and Kelce tie the knot is expected to be star-studded, to say the least.
Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez are slated to be part of Swift’s bridal party. It’s anticipated that Graham Norton andZoë Kravitz will also be there. Plenty of NFL superstars and Hall of Famers will no doubt have chairs at the nuptials as well.
And during his interview Thursday, Reid sure sounded excited to be a small part of the scene.
“I’m so happy for them,” he said. “When you really come down to it, it doesn’t matter how big the show is around them. They’re in love and that’s the most important thing.”
Reid actually played a minor role in helping the two get together back in 2023.
Swift said last year that after Kelce shot his shot on his “New Heights” podcast, Reid having kind things to say about his tight end influenced her to reach out.
