Trump brought three female aids among his entourage for the China visit
President Donald Trump is on day two of his trip to meet the Chinese leader, and he brought an entourage with him.
The Republican president step foot inChinaWednesday for the three-day visit, which marks the first time a U.S. president has met with the leader of China since Trump’s last visit in 2017.Trumpis looking to make some political deals with Xi Jinping, including buying more American food and aircraft.
Melania is not joining her husband on the trip despite being by his side during that 2017 visit. Instead, he is bringing ahost of other personnel, including son Eric Trump, daughter-in-law Lara Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and several CEOs, like Apple’s Tim Cook and Tesla’s Elon Musk.
Also joining him are three female aides, who remain relatively out of the limelight. Anna Kelly, a White House spokeswoman; Natalie Harp, a close presidential aide; Margo Martin, a communications adviser, are all on the trip, and you may be more familiar with their work than you realize.

Anna Kelly, 29, is the deputy White House press secretary, and she’s just a year older than press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
She is originally from Fairfax, Virginia, and she was named Miss State Fair of Virginia in 2019. Kelly has a long resume working in politics. Her LinkedIn shows she was the communication director for the Republican Party of Wisconsin; the communications director for Tim Michels in the 2022 Wisconsin governor’s race, which he lost; the communications director for the office of Rep. Derrick Van Orden in the U.S. House of Representatives; and the national press secretary for the Republican National Convention.
In an interview with The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show, she shared what it’s like working a the White House. She said she’s “having so much fun” working for the president.
“It’s extremely exciting to be part of the process and really helping correct all the mistakes over the past four years,” Kelly said.
