Jammu:The Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Police is on a hunt and has put up the posters of Jaish-E-Mohammad (JEM)terroristshowing him with a beard and without a beard, seeking locals and citizens’ support to identify and nab him. According to the police, the terrorist has been identified as Saifullah and is active since 2024. He was earlier active in Doda and is now showing up in activities in Kishtwar. However, Saifullah, who was identified during recent encounters, somehow managed to escape and is on the run.
In order to hold him, the police have now circulated his posters with a beard and without a beard and moustache. In a message for citizens, the police said, "All the residents of Doda, we appeal that if they see this person around them, they should immediately inform the police."
The police put up a poster of Jaish-e-Mohammed commander and mastermind Saifullah in Thathri, Doda, urging people to contact the Jammu and Kashmir Police if they have any information about Saifullah or if they see him anywhere.
Commander Saifullah is aPakistan-trained terroristwho, along with some of his associates, has been hiding in the Doda and Kishtwar areas of the Jammu division for a long time, cops said.
They further informed that Saifullah's associate was recently killed by security forces, and now he and a few of his associates have escaped. The security forces and Jammu and Kashmir Police are searching for them. Several encounters took place between Saifullah and security forces, but he managed to escape. Now, security forces have intensified their operation to hunt him and his associates down.
