A man accused of trying to break into singer Chris Brown’s Tarzana property was arrested twice in less than 24 hours after allegedly returning to the home just hours after being released from jail.
Security at Brown’s San Fernando Valley residence first spotted the man near the property Wednesday evening and told him to leave the area, the Los Angeles Police Department told NBC 4.
Police said he initially complied but later came back shortly before 7 p.m. and reportedly attempted to scale a fence surrounding the home.
Security personnel stopped the man before he could get onto the property and detained him until officers arrived.
He was then taken into custody on suspicion of trespassing.
Authorities said Brown was not at home during the incident.
LAPD officials said the case has been submitted to prosecutors for possible charges.
But the bizarre ordeal didn’t end there.
Police said the suspect was released from custody around 4:30 a.m. Thursday, only to show up again at Brown’s home roughly five hours later.
Security once again detained the man until officers arrived, and he was arrested for a second time.
