Pavlou launched acrowdfunding campaignto be able to fly to the US and fulfil his goal. However, upon arriving at LAX, he was stopped by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and was deported back to Australia.

In an X post, Pavlou shared his experience and accused Eilish of being behind his deportation, claiming she contacted the DHS to stop him from moving into her house. He said, 'Billie Eilish got me deported from the US - I think her legal team contacted DHS.'

Pavlou shared that he spent 30 hours at LAX immigration trying to explain his intentions. 'I spent 30 hours at LAX immigration trying to explain that my shit posts were just a joke and that I didn't actually plan to personally move into her mansion,' he wrote.
