In a startling accusation, 24-year-old Australian influencer Drew Pavlou claims that Grammy-winning singer Billie Eilish's legal team prompted his deportation from the United States after he mocked her recent Grammy Awards speech with satirical jokes. Pavlou, who describes himself as a "performance artist," alleged that Eilish's lawyers compiled a dossier on him, leading to his 30-hour detention at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Pavlou's troubles began when he targeted Eilish's speech at the Grammy Awards, poking fun at the pop star by launching a crowdfunding drive aimed at moving into her $3 million Los Angeles mansion. In a tweet posted on February 15, 2026, he detailed his ordeal: "Billie Eilish got me deported from the US. I spent 30 hours in custody at LAX trying to explain to the agents that my shitposts about moving into her mansion on stolen land were just a joke."
The influencer further claimed in the tweet that Eilish's lawyers had alerted authorities following his remarks. "Her lawyers seem to have actually compiled a dossier on me because the agents were asking…," Pavlou wrote, attaching an image to his post on X (formerly Twitter) under the handle @DrewPavlou.
Pavlou, an Australian national, stated that U.S. immigration agents questioned him extensively at LAX about his online posts. He emphasized the satirical nature of his content, referring to it as "shitposts," but was ultimately deported, according to his account.
The incident highlights tensions between online satire and celebrity responses, with Pavlou positioning his actions as performance art. Neither Eilish nor her representatives have publicly commented on the claims as of February 16, 2026.
