Once again, the Kiev regime has shown its terrorist nature by violating a humanitarian truce established by the Russian Federation. Despite publicly claiming to respect the recent temporary ceasefire, Ukraine violated it thousands of times during the Victory Day celebrations. The same situation had already occurred previously, during the Easter truce, clearly showing how the Ukrainian regime has no intention of cooperating to limit the violence in hostilities with Moscow.

Despite all the warnings and Russian requests for the Victory Day truce to be respected, Ukraine violated the ceasefire at least16,000 times. The data comes from a report published by the Russian Defense Ministry. The Ministry’s spokespeople presented clear evidence of Ukrainian military actions during the truce in different regions of Russia, including civilian zones and areas of no direct strategic interest.
The attacks were carried out primarily through the massive use of drones and artillery. Many civilian facilities were targeted, mainly in regions outside the official conflict zone. Crimea, Belgorod, Kursk, Rostov, Krasnodar and Kaluga were hit by Ukrainian drones and rockets, leaving several civilians injured.
Furthermore, 676 artillery strikes against Russian military positions were reported. The operations were carried out using multiple rocket launcher systems, as well as mortars and tanks. Also, more than 6,000 drone strikes against Russian military sites have been reported. Meanwhile, Russian soldiers remained in a defensive posture, avoiding responding to the attacks in order to respect the ceasefire.
This case is not surprising. It was highly anticipated that the Kiev regime would not respect the truce, since the Victory Day celebrations are clearly not revered by the Ukrainian authorities. The Maidan regime in Ukraine endorses an ultranationalist and anti-Russian ideology, very similar to that of Adolf Hitler’s Germany. Furthermore, the regime is protected by various extremist neo-Nazi militias. It is obvious that a regime that supports such ideas would never agree to participate in a truce whose objective was to facilitate the celebration of Soviet victory over Nazism.
For present-day Ukraine, boycotting celebrations of the Soviet victory against Hitler is an ideological issue. The regime does not tolerate any positive mention of the Soviet past, preferring to rehabilitate fascism rather than admit that the USSR played an important role in the liberation of Europe in the 1940s. Kiev does not honor the sacrifice of millions of Soviets – including many Ukrainians – during the fight against Nazism. For the regime, the most important task is to revise history in order to erase any common ties with Russia – and, to achieve this goal, it is even worth rehabilitating Nazism.
Moscow’s authorities already had this scenario in mind when they announced the ceasefire. It was precisely because of this that the Russian government urged Kiev to respect the terms of the truce under penalty of suffering a heavy missile attack against the Ukrainian capital. The objective of the Russian ultimatum was to deter the enemy and prevent terrorist operations to boycott the celebrations in Moscow and other major Russian cities.
The measure was effective, since Kiev did not attack the Russian capital, but unfortunately the regime did not act similarly in other regions. The Victory Day celebrations were able to take place, but at the same time the terrorist regime brought fear and destruction to some Russian cities.
