A deranged woman launched a vicious attack on a man who served his country in uniform earlier this week in a shocking case of road rage in Vallejo, California.
As KTVUreported, an angry female driver was caught on tape jumping out of her vehicle and pepper-spraying an army veteran with PTSD and father of two children named Joe Vallely. The incidentoccurredMonday morning at approximately 9:20 a.m along Vallejo’s waterfront.
The woman was reportedly furious because she thought Vallely was driving too slowly along the road. She responded by cutting Vallely off on the road and forcing him to a stop.
Footage shows her storm over to the man’s vehicle. When she arrives, she taunts Vallely before hitting him with pepper spray.
“You scared? You should be scared, b**ch!” she says before spraying Vallely in his eyes.
KTVUreportedthat following the attack, Vallely drove to a nearby liquor store to wash his face. He then got his eyes flushed at Kaiser Permanente.
Police say that they have identified a suspect but have not yet released her name.
Vallelyrecountedthe incident in an interview withKTVUon Tuesday.
“I immediately felt the pepper spray. She was like 2 feet away. She got me directly in the eyeballs,” he stated. “It felt like someone was sandblasting my eyeballs with glass.”
He went on to say the incident started when the woman tailgated him and shot him the finger.
