Jill Zarin, the 62-year-old reality TV veteran, sparked controversy with a now-deleted Instagram video in which she harshly criticized Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime performance, calling it "the worst halftime show ever."

In the video, Zarin took issue with several aspects of the show, including its language, the absence of white performers, and instances of crotch grabbing. She argued that the performance was mismatched for the occasion, particularly as the United States marks 250 years of history.

"We all agree — it was the worst halftime show ever. It’s 250 years that we’re celebrating right now in the United States, and I just don’t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish," Zarin stated in the clip.

Zarin further described the halftime show as a political statement, pointing out the lack of diversity in performers. "No white people in the entire thing," she noted, before labeling it an "ICE thing" and accusing the NFL of compromising its standards.

"I think it was a political statement, and I’m not taking a side one way or the other," Zarin continued. "I just do. I think it was an ICE thing." She expressed disappointment in the league, saying it was "very sad" that the NFL had "sold out" — "shame!"

The video gained attention after being shared on social media by Gibson Johns, who posted it on X (formerly Twitter) on February 9, 2026, with the caption: "Jill Zarin’s review of Bad Bunny’s #SuperBowlHalftime Show… 🥴" accompanied by a link to the clip.

Zarin's outspoken remarks highlight ongoing debates surrounding cultural representation and entertainment choices at major events like the Super Bowl halftime show.
