German ModelLizlaz has claimed that a few journalists offered her money to say negative things aboutVirat Kohli. For the unversed, Kohli allegedly liked Lizlaz's Instagram post, and it became national news, making Lizlaz extremely popular in India. During an interview with Filmymantra,Lizlazrevealed that several social media channels contacted her and allegedly tried to convince her to make false claims about Virat Kohli.
“Some journalists even offered me money to say bad things about him (Virat Kohli) and make allegations he never made. But why would I do that?" she said.
Lizlaz said that she was surprised by the attention and became slightly emotional after seeing Kohli's interaction. "I was very happy and a little emotional about it, but I never expected something like this to happen," she added.
Lizlaz revealed that things became slightly uncomfortable after people forced her to say negative things about Kohli. “So why would I say bad things about him for money? I'm not that kind of person,” she concluded.
Following the controversy, Lizlaz posted several photos of herself wearing the RCB jersey and supporting the franchise.
RCB have three matches left in the IPL 2026, and a win or two in the remaining matches should be enough to finish inside the top two.
