In what could be the most explosive government testimony in recent history, Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) has confirmed that an active CIA employee will testify publicly and in person tomorrow morning about how the intelligence community has deliberately covered up the true origins of COVID-19 for years.

The hearing, scheduled for May 13 at 10:30 a.m. EST, promises to expose the uncomfortable truth that many Americans have long suspected: the U.S. government not only funded dangerous gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China, but then orchestrated a massive cover-up to hide their complicity when that research resulted in a global pandemic.

According to Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin’s exclusive report on X, this isn’t just another disgruntled former employee or political operative. This is an active, career CIA officer who Sen. Paul describes as “famous within the community for being someone who, behind the scenes, has really helped our country”.

“This is a brave person who’s spent a career in the CIA,” Sen. Paul told Melugin. “I don’t know how much can be revealed, but is actually famous within the community for being someone who, behind the scenes, has really helped our country”.

The whistleblower will testify that the intelligence community has known for years that COVID-19 originated from the Wuhan Institute of Virology lab, yet actively worked to suppress this information from the American people.

Sen. Paul revealed that when CIA scientists actually examined the evidence, they reached an unmistakable conclusion.

“I think this whistleblower will help to confirm that this was known, has been known for a long time, and that when the scientists at the CIA looked at this, they discovered or they concluded that the virus had come from the lab,” Sen. Paul explained.

This revelation directly contradicts years of public statements from the intelligence community suggesting the origins of COVID-19 remained uncertain or pointing toward natural transmission from animals.

Senator Paul didn’t mince words about what tomorrow’s testimony will expose.

“What we’re going to find is that the cover up is a real thing, that there are members of the community, the intelligence community, that still don’t want the truth to come out,” Paul stated.
