Oscar Torres-Molina pulled over a white car near Aloha Avenue and South Perkins in the Parkway Village neighborhood. The newly released footage shows the interaction between the officer and the suspect, later identified as 40-year-old Danell Maxwell.In the video, Maxwell tells the officer that he has a gun.As both of them walked to the officer's squad car, the officer asked Maxwell if the VIN number on one of his car doors "always been scratched off like that." Moments later, the video shows Maxwell pulling out a gun and shooting Torres-Molina.The footage continues, showing Maxwell looking at the officer on the ground.MPD had previously reported that Torres-Molina was shot in the face. He was hospitalized for several days and released.
