A North Carolina member of Congress caused a leftist mom to freak out after seeing the response letter she wrote to her child.

As The Daily Mailreportedon Tuesday, a ten-year-old boy named Christian Mango wrote a letter to Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.), which touted the so-called benefits of electric vehicles (EVS). He also asked her to consider giving tax credits for EVs.

Christian, a fourth-grader at Canterbury School in Greensboro, clearly echoed left-wing talking points in the letter, which one would not expect from someone his age. After all, what does a young kid know about electric vehicles or national politics in general?

What Foxx wrote back to Christian was anything but politically correct. She immediately pointed out that the money is not directly from Uncle Sam, but from American taxpayers.

Moreover, most Americans who would be paying for the vehicles could never afford to buy one themselves.

“What many folks do not realize is that the money that ‘comes from’ the federal government actually comes from ordinary citizens who pay taxes to support that government,” Foxxwroteto the child.

“Therefore, your request that ‘the federal government should give a $5,000 tax rebate for all new electric car purchases’ means that the federal government must take that money out of the pockets of hardworking people who may not have the means to buy an electric vehicle in the first place,” she explained.

As The Daily Mailnotes, Foxx went to inform Christian of a far more serious problem than ‘climate change’: the national debt, which is currently over$39 TRILLION.Members of Congress have shown no desire to address this.

This means America’s children and grandchildren will be the ones paying the price.

“YOU and your classmates will be responsible for paying down the national debt,” Foxxwrote.
