The number of MPs calling for Starmer’s resignation keeps growing – if it reaches 81, it triggers a leadership contest.

On an early morning post today, we were reporting on the Labour revolt against failing British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, notably among the party’s lawmakers.

I wrote about how ‘only’ 30 Labour members of parliament had so far publicly voiced opposition to his leadership.

But now, a few hours later, the number of rebels has more than doubled, and stands at 60-62 MPs (depending on the source), and let me clear about this:it’s 60 Labour MPs, lawmakers from his own party.

Also, three ‘parliamentary private secretaries’ (who are MPs) resigned from the Government and joined the rebel MPs.

3 Labour MPs have quit and called for Keir Starmer to resign

Joe Morris, Tom Rutland and Sally Jameson who are ministerial aides have ramped up the pressure.
