Sometimes in a forest, you find a tree trunk so rotten that all it takes is a good kick to knock it over. That is a very good metaphor for the US government. Now the kick is coming in the form of arrest warrants for the fake President Donald Trump and most of his cabinet.Thisis whatwas decidedat a meeting of Western countries last week. The most explicit call for arrests came from Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney last week, when he returned from a meeting of over 50 countries connected with Europe. He said Canada, the European Union, Australia, and other countries all agreed to a “belief in Democracy, the rule of law, and that we are all equal before that law. Those who transgress those rules and laws must be prosecuted and brought to justice…The system that existed after the war to prosecute war criminals has been greatly weakened and needs to be rebuilt and rebuilt in a way, maybe a different way, to ensure this.”

He said this after he named former Supreme Court justice Louise Arbour as Canada’s next governor general, Canada’s symbolic head of state. Part of her resumé includes stints prosecuting war crimes in Rwanda and Yugoslavia.

The fact that the United States was the only European heritage country not invited to the meeting makes it clear who they think needs to be prosecuted for war crimes.
Carney also makes it clear Canada is “open to deeper integration, including options for fortress North America… those offers are on the table.”
So this is about the fake Trump, not the United States. Former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Peter Buttigieg said, “In practice, America first has really meant America alone.”
