President Donald Trumpposted on Truth Social that Iranians will be “laughing no longer” after“60 Minutes”aired an interview withIsraeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahustating that the Iran War is not over.

MEARSHEIMER: IRAN UNDERSTANDS THAT BOTH THE U.S. AND ISRAEL SEEK ITS DESTRUCTION

Trump said the Iranians have been playing games with the United States for 47 years and took advantage of the weak leadership of President Barack Hussein Obama by signing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which he withdrew from during his first administration.

“For 47 years the Iranians have been “tapping” us along, keeping us waiting, killing our people with their roadside bombs, destroying protests, and recently wiping out 42,000 innocent, unarmed protestors, and laughing at our now GREAT AGAIN Country. They will be laughing no longer!” he posted.

Trump’s comments came after Netanyahu told “60 Minutes” that the most recent war with Iran “degraded” a lot of the country’s defense capabilities.

“But all that is still there, and there’s work to be done,” he said.

Netanyahu spoke about the missing 970 pounds of uranium and told the network: “You go in, and you take it out.”

Trump has told reporters that the ceasefire is still in place, despite a military exchange last week in the Strait of Hormuz.

The White House had said it had been waiting for the Iranians to respond to its latest peace offer, and reports out of Iran said that Tehran responded to the U.S. proposal.

Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei said his country’s military is prepared to respond to any “strategic mistake” by the “American-Zionist enemy,” according to Press TV.
