With Trump’s PressSec on maternity leave, folks from other parts of Trump’s administration have been filling in. When Rubio’s turn came up, he CRUSHED it!
He mixed business with pleasure. He snuck in a couple of song lyrics in his foreign policy updates (‘check yourself before you wreck yourself’, and ‘insane in the brain’).
He was asked about his DJ name (after reports that he did DJ work at a wedding) to which he replied ‘you’re not ready for my DJ name’.
But on a more serious note, he was asked about his Hope for America. His answer is the answer we would want EVERYONE in public office — and beyond — not only to say, but to have as their core working operating system as they enjoy the privileges that come from living in America.

It’s about as wholesome a statement as you’re ever likely to hear out of Washington DC.
No wonder he’s cementing his spot on the short list of strong candidates in the Presidential primaries for 2028.
