Los Angeles became comedy central this week as Netflix flooded the city with nearly 500 events for its third annualNetflix Is a Joke Fest, but one over-the-top photo and an exclusive brunch stole the spotlight.
Thestreaming giantsent social media into a frenzy after posting a sprawling group shot featuring 132 comedians, actors and comic creators piled into a massive outdoor ball pit.
“132 of the world’s funniest people walk into a ballpit,” Netflix captioned the colorful image shared online.
The playful scene looked more like a chaotic birthday bash than a Hollywood publicity shoot, with entertainers laughing, lounging and hurling bright plastic balls toward the camera while fans raced to spot familiar faces in the crowd.

On May 7, attention shifted from the stage to Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos’ home, where he hosted an annual brunch gathering that has quickly become one of the festival’s most sought-after invites.
More than 100 comedians and entertainers attended the event, including big names like Dave Chappelle, Adam Sandler, Nikki Glaser, Janelle James, David Spade and Bob The Drag Queen.
Stars tied to Netflix projects also joined the brunch, including Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman from “Hunting Wives,” as well as Ashley Park from “Emily in Paris.”
Comic Fortune Feimster said the gathering offers performers a rare opportunity to reconnect while crossing paths with some of comedy’s biggest names.
