The Trump administration on Friday released a new batch of previously classified files, photos, and videos related to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), marking what officials described as the beginning of an unprecedented transparency effort surrounding the federal government’s knowledge of extraterrestrial activity and unexplained aerial encounters.
The release comes under President Donald Trump’s Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE) initiative, which the White House says is designed to give Americans direct access to long-hidden government material without requiring security clearances.

“The latest UAP videos, photos, and original source documents from across the entire United States government are all in one place — no clearance required,” the White House said in a statement.
“While past administrations sought to discredit or dissuade the American people, President Trump is focused on providing maximum transparency to the public, who can ultimately make up their own minds about the information contained in these files.”
Apollo Mission Photos Show Strange Objects on the Moon
Among the newly released material are photographs captured during the Apollo 12 (1969) and Apollo 17 (1972) moon missions that appear to show unexplained objects in space.
One image (pictured) taken from the lunar surface reportedly shows three mysterious bright objects hovering in the sky above the moon.
The administration also released transcripts from Apollo 17 communications involving astronauts describing bizarre objects drifting past the spacecraft.
