Correction: District budget proposes enhancement in security

A story about the Mineola school budget incorrectly identified a meeting of the school board rather than the District Council of PTAs.The story also stated that the district spent $615,000 on security, rather than the $615,000 it had budgeted for security.story also statd the district would pull $3.3 million for boiler and HVAC upgrades for the first additional proposition and would implement a new capital reserve fund. The ldistrict is seeking voter authorization for both propositions and to establish a new capital reserve fund.
