Riverhead CAP to host 39th annual “say no to drugs” march June 5

Riverhead CAP will hold its 39th annual “Say No to Drugs” march on Friday, June 5, from 9 to 11 a.m. around downtown Riverhead, beginning at Pulaski Street School.

The annual event brings together students, educators and community members to promote drug-free lifestyles and raise awareness about substance abuse prevention.

This year’s honoree is Reverend Cynthia Liggon of First Baptist Church of Riverhead, recognized for her contributions to the community.

The march is open to the public.
