Amid the ongoing political buzz in Tamil Nadu surrounding TVK chief Vijay and his party, a video showing a man allegedly impersonating Vijay has gone viral on social media and is trending on X.
The clip was originally shared by Polimer News and has since been widely reshared online. In the video, a man can be seen arriving near Vijay’s residence on a new bike, speaking loudly in Tamil and claiming that he had come to “talk about the alliance.” According to Polimer News, the man said, “I am Vijay... I have come only to talk about the alliance.”
The incident reportedly took place outside TVK leader Vijay’s residence, where the man’s dramatic behaviour quickly caught public attention. The video has since sparked mixed reactions online, ranging from humour and memes to concern over the individual’s behaviour.
One user wrote, “Embarrassing for our state.” Another sarcastically commented, “Vijay anna talking to the media for the first time.” One more user joked, “Free entertainment for Viji na’s neighbors.” Another remarked, “Yeah... Unlimited meme & brainwreck supply hereafter. The full flavour of TN shall be witnessed from now on.”
Some users, however, expressed concern over the situation. One person wrote, “Instead of plastering this man's face all over the internet, get him some help.” Another user commented, “What kind of psychological warfare TVK has done that people are going mad over this.”
Meanwhile, TVK continues to remain short of the 118-seat majority mark required to form the government in Tamil Nadu. Vijay’s party is reportedly still looking for alliance support to bridge the gap of 10 seats.
Earlier, the Tamil Nadu Governor had reportedly asked TVK chief Vijay to return with proof of majority support before staking claim to form the government. Since then, political speculation and alliance discussions surrounding Tamil Nadu politics have continued to dominate headlines and social media conversations.
