(Continued from Part 1. This concludes the article.)

For now, the best thing to do for many is to “Get Out” escaping blue hives and get on productive land. I have been advocating that people move to lightly populated food producing rural areas in conservative states. I live in one and I am trying to increase the number of freedom loving people over here. There is safety in numbers.

I realize how difficult it is to accomplish all of this. Whenever I talk with people who would like to live on a farm, the number one reason I hear is that people cannot afford it. I am currently working on a large article series to help people to survive this new economic paradigm where jobs are disappearing and expenses keep on rising because of inflation. It is not getting better out there for regular hard-working folks. I do wish that I could report positive news, but I know many businessmen around the country who are being suffocated by the high prices for raw materials and demand destruction that occurs as people pull back from spending on finished goods as the costs of everyday mandatory expenses rises.

It is bad out there on multiple fronts and I have been debating which article series to write next. Remember, an individual can get a fatal prognosis with six months to live, but then get run over by a bus on their way from the doctor’s office. The economy is getting worse on multiple levels that are effecting families and young people starting out who rely or will rely on jobs for employment at a structural level from unemployment rising because of companies making gigantic reductions in staff because of artificial intelligence or reducing hiring of in new junior level positions. Some recent graduates out there are applying for hundreds or even thousands of jobs without even an interview. Government debt is rising faster like a temperature than our economy can productively increase its output. If this were a patient with heatstroke, it often would require quick, dramatic measures to reduce the chances of brain damage such as an ice bath.

If someone from 2019 were reading about the current state of the economy in 2026, they would think it is really bad for people in the future. But, then there is more! Currently, there is a possibility of a famine, food shortages, or a best case of even higher prices because of reduced food production because of the current high prices and low availability of fertilizer in many parts of the world. We are producing less food by choice on our farm. Our profits have stayed steady and even increased as we reduced planting crops needing heavy amounts of fertilizer because of the higher input costs.

We are currently at the lowest recorded level of wheat planted in this nation and national records began in 1919. The staple crops which provide the bulk of nutrition around the world are wheat, corn, and rice which provide from 50 to 60 percent of the calories grown. Currently, you are likely eating 2025 grown food in 2026. Right now unless something changes, it is about to get worse. An analogy for this is you going on an ocean cruise and you have only enough fuel for half of the journey and this is discovered while en route, but you are far from any shore or regular traffic. You don’t have a working radio or any auxiliary fuel tanks. You are dead in the water with only the currents and wind to carry you. There were many points in this journey where everything appears to be fine and then you suddenly realize that you are in dire straits.

Whenever I write, I try to find ways to help the most people, so I have to prioritize my articles. Higher prices, shortages, and even famines are potentially on the menu for the future unless something is done to get more crops planted and then for these crops to be fertilized at very specific intervals to achieve maximum yield. Most people cannot afford to survive what is likely coming because they don’t have the resources right now to be on a farm or have the ability to go to a farm they own or owned by a friend if its gets really bad in the cities. It is a conundrum almost like the puzzle of “you need experience to get a job, but then you need a job to get experience.” Solving the famine equation is really simple: have plenty of food and a way to grow more. The problem with surviving is often one of resources, so an article about financial planning will be precede one on famine unless “mushrooms” of a different sort become an even higher possibility.

I live in a very conservative red state on a rural farm, but I have traveled a lot, so I keep a pulse on the economic and social health of this nation to figure out what is really going on. I know of people in blue states who want to “Get Out,” but various obligations or reasons are preventing them from doing so such as needing to wait until they qualify for a pension or being unsure about moving to a new area. I don’t know about everywhere and everyone in every conservative area, but I know about my family in that we welcome talking to people and try our best to help people.
