A Rockville Centre man has been arrested in connection with a robbery at a Massapequa bank, police said.
According to Nassau County police, the man robbed a Flagstar Bank on Sunrise Highway on April 22, when he passed a note to a teller demanding cash. The teller complied out of fear and the subject fled.
Police said the suspect, Brian Quinn, 50, is also believed to be responsible for other incidents across Nassau County in the days prior.
Those include the theft of a BMW from an auto shop in Baldwin on April 19, after he took the car for a test drive and did not return it, and an attempted robbery at a Chase Bank in Oceanside on April 20, where a teller refused his demand for money, police said.
Following an investigation, police arrested Quinn without incident. He has been charged with third-degree robbery, third-degree attempted robbery and fourth-degree grand larceny.
Quinn was arraigned April 24 at First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
