Kiev may be heavily targeted in the next few days.
The next few days may turn out to be some of the most disturbing of the Russia-Ukraine war, now in its 5thyear.
Like every year, Russians will celebrate on May 9 the ‘Victory Day’ over Nazi Germany in WW2.
And like they´ve been doing in the last few years during the war, Vladimir Putin is declaring a unilateral truce during the celebrations.
Kiev regime leader Volodymyr Zelensky could have accepted the truce, or rejected it – but instead, he came up with a ‘counter truce’ beginning two days earlier.
When Russian attacks continued unabated during the ‘counter-truce’ days, Zelensky gravely stated that’Ukraine will respond in kind’.
In the meantime, aware of the real possibility of a Ukrainian attack against the scaled-down ‘Victory Day’ parade in Moscow’s Red Square, Russia haswarned of unprecedented strikes in downtown Kiev, on ‘decision-making centers.’
Today, the Russian Foreign Ministry reiterated the warning to Kiev’s civilian population and especially to the foreign diplomatic missions to evacuate Kiev, because if Ukraine enacts any disruption to the celebrations, a strike will be incoming for Kiev.
And once the hypersonic missiles are fired, there won’t be time for much.
Maria Zakharova urges foreign missions to evacuate from Kiev ahead of “inevitable retaliatory strikes” on “decision-making centers” if Ukraine attacks Moscow on Victory Day.pic.twitter.com/vmc3OQF5cL
