A 15-year-old girl from Andhra Pradesh is fighting for her life in hospital after being subjected to a horrificgang-rapethat lasted for hours inPatna, India.Policehave arrested two of the accused, while a third man remains on the run.

The girl had arrived from Vijayawada on May 1 to visit her family. She lost her phone at the crowded railway station and was left stranded, unable to contact her relatives. While crying and distressed, she was allegedly approached by a man identified as Vikas, also known as Vijay, who offered to help her.

Instead, he is accused of taking her to Gandhi Maidan, where another accused, Arvind, arrived in a car. The girl was allegedly forced into the vehicle, and her nightmare began.

On May 2, the brutality escalated when the attackers allegedly took her to an under-construction house in Beohar. A third man, Pawan Rai, is accused of joining them there.

The girl was held captive and repeatedly gang-raped through the night, leaving her in critical condition and bleeding heavily.

Fearing she might die, the accused eventually dumped her near Danapur station. When Vikas allegedly later returned to check if she had gone to the police, the brave girl cried out for help.

Alert passengers alerted the Government Railway Police (GRP), who intervened swiftly.

Vikas and Pawan Rai were arrested on the spot, while Arvind managed to flee and is being actively hunted by police.
