During an event at the White House today, the US president appeared to have uneven concealer on his hands, with some observers also suggesting they looked swollen.
One user on X shared a picture of the POTUS standing at a podium and wrote: “Yikes! Both of Trump’s hands are discolored today and one of them appears bruised as well.” The 79-year-old was appearing alongside First LadyMelania Trumpto honour military mothers ahead of Mother’s Day.
“It used to be he would only have this on his hands once a month and now it is every day,” another person claimed on social media, while others posted more critical comments about the appearance of his hands.
One user even shared a high-definition close-up image of Trump’s hands, writing: “Makeup and smudged left hand.” Another remarked: “The horrible makeup draws more attention.”

Others were more sympathetic, with one person posting: “Not defending Trump - he's awful for the country and should be in jail - but I'm not gonna fault him for having signs of aging. Happens to the best of us. And in this case, POTUS, as well.”
Trump’s left hand has repeatedly become a topic of discussion during public appearances, with bruising and discolouration being photographed on several occasions in recent months.
The marks have fuelled ongoing speculation online about the president’s health, particularly after close-up images emerged during campaign events, interviews and international appearances.
In January, attention was drawn to the issue again when Trump wore a single black glove on his left hand during a televised Fox News appearance and at a public rally.
Similar bruising had previously been spotted during appearances at the World Economic Forum in Davos and at events in Washington DC.
